Our client, a leading household name in the healthcare industry, is seeking to add a Privacy Director to its New York office. This role is for a thoughtful privacy professional who is a HIPAA SME, with a strong understanding of U.S. state commercial privacy regulations, including CCPA and others. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in operational privacy and should be comfortable working across the breadth and depth of a privacy program to create repeatable processes, best practices, and comprehensive training. As the Privacy Director, you will help develop strategies for the program, with a focus on domestic privacy issues. The ideal candidate will also be able to draft policies, optimize workflows, help develop best practices, and contribute to the growth of the organization's privacy department as they create a world class program. This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week in New York.
Expected salary for this exempt role is $190,000 to $225,000 commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
