Our client, a global technology company and household name, is seeking an experienced Privacy and Cyber Attorney to provide immediate support across EU privacy and cybersecurity matters on a contract basis. This attorney will advise on a range of evolving regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on GDPR, the EU AI Act, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and related European privacy and cybersecurity regulations. Responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing privacy-related materials, providing practical legal guidance, partnering with product and business teams, and tracking and interpreting regulatory developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience advising on EU privacy and cybersecurity requirements and burgeoning regulations, and be comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment. This is a fully remote U.S.-based contract opportunity expected to begin at approximately 20 hours per week, with hours likely decreasing after the first couple of months. The engagement is expected to last at least several months, with the potential to continue indefinitely.
