We are looking for another team member to join a Compliance Team at Verisk Krakow! Curious what the role is about? Take a look at the description below.
As a Data Protection Specialist at Verisk you will:
- Participate in planning, scoping, and executing compliance/audit reviews of company policies and regulatory requirements including privacy and protected regulatory personal and health information/data, e.g., GDPR, HIPPA, FCRA.
- Identify risks and recommend controls in connection with operational and business processes, including assistance in drafting process documents with controls.
- Create and perform risk-based testing procedures, including documenting client processes and procedures, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and identifying and defining issues.
- Analyze and document test findings and have preliminary discussions with corresponding control/process owners to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the issues noted.
- Assist with projects and activities to mitigate risks and to operationalize risk mitigation/compliance action plans into company procedures and systems.
- Close collaboration with internal audit and compliance team around the globe.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in audit (external or internal), internal controls, regulatory compliance, risk management, training, and education.
- University degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with privacy and protected regulated information (e.g.GDPR)
- Ability to research regulatory and business issues and learn new concepts quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all internal Business and Operating Units
- Strong communicator (oral and written) in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
